Moving beyond the sessional model

Traditional therapeutic provision in educational and residential settings is often fragmented—trapped behind rigid administrative thresholds, delayed until crisis point, or restricted to isolated 1:1 sessions.

We work differently. We partner with leadership teams, Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), alternative provisions, and care providers to design and deliver integrated therapeutic ecosystems.

We combine deep clinical expertise in developmental trauma, neurodiversity, EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance), and complex SEMH with a precise understanding of institutional operations. We don’t just deliver therapy; we build setting capacity, stabilize placements, and ensure clinical need is understood and met at every level of your organization.

The Intervention Funnel

So no young person falls through the cracks.

Therapeutic support has to be woven into the fabric of the setting — from whole-setting climate down to specialist clinical work. The Intervention Funnel moves seamlessly between those layers, so need is met at every level and nobody is left waiting in the gaps.

How we work with you.

01

Dynamic Clinical Provision

Responsive Pathways

Therapy delivered according to real-time clinical need, not rigid administrative schedules.

  • Break the Waiting LoopClinical support should not depend entirely on static funding allocations or delayed paperwork. We establish responsive referral pathways that allow settings to deploy targeted clinical intervention the moment a student or resident shows signs of distress.
  • Flexibility by DesignInterventions expand, contract, or transition into consultative staff support based on ongoing clinical formulation. When a client stabilizes, capacity shifts back to supporting the team around them—maximizing the impact of your budget.
  • Process-Informed AssessmentRapid clinical assessments that look beyond behavioral labels to identify the functional, sensory, and relational drivers behind distressed behavior.

02

“Experts at Hand” Embedded Staff Consultation

Upskilling your front-line workforce through immediate, specialist access.

  • Clinical Formulation SurgeriesRegular, scheduled case-discussion spaces where educators, SENCOs, and care staff can unpack complex student presentations with a senior clinician.
  • Live In-Class / In-Care CoachingMoving clinical insights out of the therapy room and onto the floor. We help staff adapt environments, communication styles, and co-regulation strategies in real time.
  • De-escalation Through UnderstandingShifting staff perspectives from reactive behavior management to functional understanding—reducing incidents, exclusions, and staff distress.

03

Environmental & Relational Audits

Aligning your physical and cultural space with the neurological and emotional needs of your cohort.

  • Sensory & Relational Climate MappingEvaluating physical spaces, transitions, and daily routines to identify systemic triggers and high-stress hotspots.
  • Policy to Practice AlignmentReviewing behavior, attendance, and wellbeing policies to ensure they reflect contemporary relational and trauma-informed practices without compromising boundaries or structure.
  • EBSA FrameworksDesigning systemic reintegration pathways specifically for children and young people experiencing severe attendance barriers and school-based anxiety.

04

Workplace Health & Workforce Sustainability

Supporting the team that delivers the care.

  • Reflective Practice GroupsStructured, confidential spaces for staff teams facing high secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout.
  • Organizational De-briefingFacilitated clinical debriefs following acute critical incidents or prolonged high-stress periods within a setting.
  • Leadership SupervisionExecutive clinical consultation for Headteachers, SENCOs, and Registered Managers navigating the psychological weight of institutional leadership.
